history of the church

From the 12th of July 2009 to the 5th of October 2009, the Holy Spirit led Pastor Max in a retreat through circumstances which were divinely planned and controlled. After being prayed for both by Prophet TB Joshua (Founder of the Synagogue, Church of All Nations in Lagos Nigeria) while in a week of prayer in Nigeria at the Synagogue and by Doctor David Oyedepo (President of Living Faith Church Worldwide Inc in Canaan Land, Lagos, Nigeria) while attending the Empowerment Summit 2009 in Kinshasa, DRC;

Maximilien E. Ngoie received then from that retreat a clear mandate to establish a church under the name of Jesus' Ministry Church. On the 15th of November 2009 Pastor Max founded Jesus' Ministry Church in Johannesburg, South Africa which He is leading as the visionary and senior pastor till to date

about apostle max

Maximilien Etoiles Ngoie was born on September 2, 1971 at Lubumbashi in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). He received Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour and Lord in his childhood, while going to Sunday school, under the ministry of the Swiss Missionary Monot at Manono in the province of Katanga in DRC.

In 1992, He received his baptism of water by immersion and that of the Holy Spirit and was confirmed by the Lord as one of the influential leaders of the intercessory group of the Church “Centre Evangelique l’Arche de l’Alliance” led by Pastor Israel NSEMBE in Kinshasa, DRC.

In 1995, the Holy Spirit set him aside and asked him to join Logos-Rhema Christian Ministries, which by then were in their establishment phase in Kinshasa. As soon as he obeyed, he was given the responsibility of organizing and leading intercession. Within that task, he was ordained as a church elder in 1999. His leadership had tangible results so that from a team of intercessors made up of 26 people, he was able to constitute, by the grace of God, a network of intercession with a manpower of more than 400 people while remaining thirsty to see the entire church committed to intercession prayer. Besides, many among those he led in intercession are confirmed today as servants of God with tangible results to the glory of the Lord.

In 1999, after having obtained his diploma in pure chemistry from the university of Kinshasa and while he was he was continuing his honour in the same discipline, the Lord asked him to stop everything in order to devote himself to His Word and to the pastoral calling according to Jeremiah 17: 14 – 16. This call to be a pastor will be confirmed through his ordination in 2002 by Pastor Diamant Kalonji CIBADIBADI, founder of Logos-Rhema Christian Ministries.

In 2004, with high regards, he obtained his Bachelor in Practical Theology at “la Haute Ecole de la Bible Logos-Rhema” in Kinshasa, DRC. However, in 2003 he was already serving as an assistant lecturer in the same institution where he taught subjects linked to prayer, deliverance and pastoral care. He held this position until March 2005. From June 2005 to July 2009, he served as the senior Pastor of Logos-Rhema Christian Community in Johannesburg, South Africa.

In November 15, 2009 He founded Jesus Ministry Church in Johannesburg, South Africa, which he is leading as the visionary and senior pastor till to date. He is married to Mama Ruth and they have six children.
